Status update!
I am a forex trader from Hong Kong with 15 years of experience in the industry. I have authored books such as The Art and Psychology of Trader Coaching and Financial Laboratory: Enhancing Trader Performance Through Scientific Experimentation. Currently, I work as a trading coach at a private fund. Over the years, I have trained numerous successful traders and accumulated invaluable data on trader behavior.
In early 2023, I began leading a project team to explore how AI can learn trading skills in a manner similar to how AI learns to play Go. The technical approach we are using combines Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) networks with reinforcement learning. After extensive fine-tuning, the AI is now able to replicate human trader behavior with an accuracy rate of 73.5%.
The primary objective of trading with this account is to further validate the empirical performance of the model and to provide reliable experimental data for future academic publications. While profitability is not guaranteed, I find this project to be an exciting venture and hope it can serve as a foundation for collaboration and dialogue with industry professionals.
