I have been trading since August 2022 (1.5 years of experience). My trading strategy is price action trading with a discretionary approach. I risk 5% of my balance on each trade, as I have found this to be the fastest way to gain as much profit as possible with the lowest probability of burning the account, according to my recent data. My maximum consecutive loss in the past 4 months has been only 5 consecutive losses, so it's safe to assume the probability of ruin is low but still possible. My recommended maximum risk for any account size lower than $1000 is 5%. If you have more than $1000, I recommend a maximum risk of 3%.
